- A year after the political upheaval that brought the Likud to power, on a crumbling farm, Ze'eva and her son Dov are trying to survive the ravages of time and the economy. They are surrounded by the old hatred of their neighbors, members of the Labor movement, and are ostracized by their members in the Herut movement (their brethren in the Irgun and the Lehi), the movement that until recently was their flesh and blood.
The sudden return of the youngest son, Henrik, from the United States, perhaps marks the beginning of a change for the better, or perhaps vice versa, the inevitable final decline of the family.
"The Wolves" is a stormy and touching family drama whose protagonists are imprisoned in the shadow of dark secrets from the past, in a tangle of family pathologies, and which carry one big dream: to regain a place in the politics of "new" Israel.
