Avi Ben Haim, the hero of Rami Vered’s new comedy (Abdullah Schwartz), has hit rock bottom. In a desperate attempt to change his bad luck, he fills out a lottery ticket, wins 120 million shekels, jumps for joy… and dies of a heart attack.
In the “pre-hell” department, he joins a line of colorful characters waiting for their final placement in the afterlife. Unwilling to accept the decree, Avi is confident that some mistake must have occurred; he tries to convince the devil to give him his life back. But Satan has other plans for him, forcing Avi to confront his past.
This brilliant new comedy by the playwright behind the hit “Abdullah Schwartz”, is a funny satire about the convoluted ways in which we need to take responsibility for our actions.
