A musical play
The turbulent life of Mike Brant (1947–1975) continues to inspire admiration to this day.
Mike tells the remarkable life story of one of the greatest pop stars of the 1970s – a man who found fame abroad rather than in Israel, in an era when Israeli society didn’t know what to do with exceptional talent. The unanswered questions he left behind, his complex relationship with his Holocaust-survivor parents, his relentless drive for success, and the price of fame are brought to the stage for the first time in a grand production featuring 15 actors, live musicians, and his beloved songs.
